Multiple PersonalitiesSorry for this, but here is another one about being yourself. Actually, this is about too many of you, or too many different you. You need to be yourself. You never know what you can accomplish unless you except/encourage the real you. As I said in “Popularity, Friends” this is how you make real friends. OK, back on to multiple personalities. This may seem great to you because you can hang out with many different kinds of people. Just for the record, I encourage that. Popularity, FriendsDid you ever look at your friends and think, ”Do they like me for who I am?” Personally, I have. Popularity among your friend is important but you have to know what kind it is. Are you liked for your possessions or for you? If you’re liked for you possessions then those people are not really your friends. Now, you have to think about whether your friends like you for who you really are or what you want them to think your like. The second one is bad for reasons I will talk about later. Popularity, cliquesAlso known as cool, hip (if that is still said), with it, in the in crowd. And if I am right, it is the most important thing in late elementary, middle and high school. We have to be liked by everybody. We all have a way to get there, too: becoming friends with certain people, dating certain people, doing certain things. Don’t get me wrong; it is great having that kind of aura. However, most of the time it comes with a price. Sometimes you will have to disown your less popular friends to join this clique. Time pt.2I know I already wrote about time but this is not about wasting it. This is the about its healing powers. People say, “Time will heal everything.” I’m sorry to say, for I believed it myself once, but it’s not true. The only thing it does is give us time to get over it. It doesn’t really heal. If you don’t really get what I’m saying then let me put it this way, if your best friend broke your I-pod, you get angry with them right? But eventually you get a new one, and over time you forgive your friend and fix your problems. (At least that is what you should do.) Sometimes it takes longer for people to forgive e Time pt.2
